JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Deliver new and compelling designs and product innovation ideas for automotive exterior and interior.
• The position will be located in Shanghai

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Create innovative ideas traditionally and digitally (2D and 3D).
• Development of 3D digital models for concepts and production programs.
• Work creatively within technical package/constraints.
• Create artistic presentation to senior management.
• Understand and integrate marketing brief/information.
• Work with cross-functional team to develop innovative product concepts.
• Work together with Marketing and outside vendors to develop creative work for research events that deliver clear consumer insights to the Design community.
• Flexibility in travel mainly within China to support various market insight research events including weekends and holidays if required.


QUALIFICATIONS:
• Academic degrees and work experience in Automotive Design.
• Strong 2D & 3D digital capabilities, well experienced in both Exterior and Interior design & development on concepts and production projects.
• Ability to think three-dimensionally, with a strong emphasis on proportions and a refined sense of form.
• Ability to think and see customer opportunities from both Design and Marketing perspective.
• Strategic and creative thinking.
• Strong communication skills.

Experience/Competency
• 3+ years in major design studios preferred (Will consider recent graduates if qualifies)
• Traditional design media (pen, pencil, marker)
• 2D/3D digital design media (Photoshop, Alias, Maya, Power Point, etc,)

EDUCATION
• Bachelor in Industrial Design \ Product Design \ Automotive Design

LANGUAGE
• Mandarin Chinese
• English (strong verbal and written skills)

2011中国西子创意设计大赛(电梯类)征集公告

大赛背景
为了充分发挥精英大学生创造能力和设计实践能力，进一步促进设计与制造的互动和对接，提升大学生工业设计水平，思维创新能力，加快推动“中国制造”向“中国创造”的步伐，西子联合控股有限公司联合中国电梯协会、中国工业设计周举办了2011第一届西子创意设计大赛（电梯类）。

三、 奖项设置及参赛要求
1、 参赛对象
国内（包括港澳台）、国际各大院校爱好设计的师生，设计者不受地域、年龄、专业等限制，以个人或团队名义参赛均可；

2、参赛作品范围
（1）倡导未来电梯的“节能、环保、绿色、人文”理念，对生活、时尚有自己独特的理解。
（2）体现电梯元素。可以对功能性电梯（如消防电梯、观光电梯）等或对现有电梯的改进（如轿厢门、按钮、控制系统等）提出概念性的、大胆的设想。

3、参赛程序
（1）参赛规则：免费参赛，可以单人参加也可以组队参赛，队伍人数不超过5人，鼓励组队参赛；
（2）报名：从设计在线（www.dolcn.com ）下载报名表、或从相关渠道获得报名表并正确填写；
（3）作品提交：在规定投稿时间内必须同时把报名表和参赛作品以电子邮件附件打包的形式发送到大赛指定投稿邮箱xizidesign@gmail.com，截止时间为2011年11月15日。

4、作品要求
（1）设计作品具有创造性，独特性，合理性一定程度上体现未来电梯的趋势；
（2）已获奖项或专利的作品不得提交，不得侵犯他人知识产权，一经发现立刻取消所有奖项并因此产生一切的后果自负；
（3）不得在设计作品中出现任何包括作者姓名等信息的标识；
（4）设计作品版面大小为A2（420mm*594mm），必须为竖式构图，jpg 格式，精度不低于100dpi ；
（5）每件参赛作品包含以下内容
①一张版面，内容包括作品名称、整体效果图、设计说明；
②提供局部效果图2张；
注意：版面中不得出现作者姓名及任何标记，否则视为无效作品
（6）入围及优秀作品将准备300dpi的设计资料图，能够保证大幅喷绘和印刷要求。
