About our Intern Program Nokia Design is responsible for leading Nokia's creative efforts to bring world class Industrial Design to our consumers across the world. At Nokia our designers touch the lives of billions of people globally. We work closely with engineering and business teams to design the hardware, software, services, and packaging for Nokia's mobile solutions. This summer our global intern program will offer the opportunity for 10 students to join us for a 3-4 month period. Many students who have previously been part of this program have gone onto accelerate their careers in design working across Nokia’s many global locations. Those who chose to return to education have taken with them the experience of a lifetime and have had the chance to work with the most exciting portfolio of products in the mobile space.
You will get an opportunity to work on real products in real teams, and experience what it is like to work in our dynamic, creative environment. You will be working on a portfolio of products including our global smart phone portfolio and our mobile phone portfolio where we expect to ship to the next billion consumers. We will learn from your fresh perspective and allow you the chance to drive serious design innovation across our studio.
Requirements We are looking for talented Industrial Design bachelor degree students who have excellent research and technical skills. Master degree would be a plus. You will also be able to demonstrate a strong portfolio showing relevant commercial experience or academic project work. We are looking for highly creative and innovative people who have a strong understanding of modern industrial design principles. You must have an excellent command of the English language, which is the main language in every Nokia office. You must be available for full time work starting from June or July and be available to stay with us until the end of September.
