Position: Junior Chinese Color & Trim Designer – Shanghai, China
Client Summary:
Our client is a leading automotive supplier in the world.
They have established a Tech Center with a Design activity in Shanghai in 2010. The Design center will be working only with Designers as all surfacing activities are conducting in the studio in India. In India, they concentrate on A-class surfacing and also do some digital modelling. The Chinese design studio is working in competition with other centers worldwide and interactions between studios are numerous.
They now need to grow their team for this Design center and are requesting our expertise.
Job Description:
You will integrate a small team of Designers working both on interior and exterior parts for the automotive industry. You will also work on more advanced projects for car development. You will work with global design teams and will have the opportunity to travel for training or business trips to Europe, USA, India.
Requirements:
Local hire: Chinese designer
Experience can range from junior to more experienced. Experience doesn't need to be automotive related, can come from a product design background for example.
Foreign studies or experience is a must.
Good level in English required.
Good design development skills: ability to conduct analysis of trends, understanding of the markets, explain design theme choices, create presentations for clients.
Smart, mature people with an ease to work in a foreign company and flexible to requests
